About Ecomills

Ecomills is one of the pioneering companies In India to use recycled materials in the manufacture of entrance flooring. The company was established as the main manufacturing plant of William F. Kempf & Son Inc., a company based in USA, doing business since 1886 in the distribution of coco mats and recycled rubber products.

 

Tread tile made from discarded truck tires, was manufactured initially in the USA, the manufacturing operations shifted to Chennai, India as the truck tires used in USA changed from bias tires ( nylon treads) to Steel Belted Radials. The discarded and used Truck tires are collected from in and around the Chennai metropolitan area, and converted into Tread Tiles, Pavers, Tire Link Mats, Decorative planters and various other innovative products.

 

Ecomills also offers complete line of natural coco /coir flooring products. Coir products are manufactured at our sister company Loomcraft located in Alleppey, Kerala, the hub of the coir industry. Ecomills also does OEM manufacturing for companies based in USA and Europe.
